Centro de Exposiciones

This is the main building of the town which is dedicated to large cultural exhibitions of all artistic disciplines. The centre was planned and specifically designed to serve as a top-quality exhibition centre, which has allowed Benalmadena to be introduced within the national and international circuits of painting and sculpture. The building consists of 850 square metres of construction and 600 square metres of exhibition space which is distributed over 4 floors of which the latter may be used as a classroom. The exhibition centre is equipped with an air conditioning system in order to maintain a stable temperature of 18°- 20° and a relative humidity of 50%. Its lighting is provided by wall-mounted floodlights and it is additionally equipped with all kinds of lighting resources. The Centre schedules between six and eight exhibitions per year, including painting, sculpture, archaeology, historic heritage, architecture and photography.
